making it officialOnce you’ve discussed and decided I’m the one, I make the booking process simple and secure. A signed contract and a retainer officially reserve your date in my calendar. Welcome! I take on a limited number of weddings each year to ensure every couple receives my full creative energy and dedication.

PREPARATION & Guidance In the months leading up to your day, I am here for you. We will plan your engagement session—a beautiful way for us to work together before the wedding. As we get closer to your day, we will schedule your consultation to go over all the details and create a detailed timeline to ensure your day flows effortlessly. I'm always happy to offer guidance, from styling tips to trusted vendor recommendations.
04
The WEdding DayThroughout the day, I will work alongside you and your vendors to create the most meaningful images. I will direct portraits to make you feel comfortable and confident while also blending into the background to capture those details and candid moments. My focus is entirely on capturing the authentic emotion and the moments that matter most to you.
A FEW DETAILSANSWERING YOUR QUESTIONS
booking & availability
-
Typically, my clients book their weddings one to two years in advance to secure their date on my calendar. Wedding dates, especially weekends, fill up fast and I can only be in one place at a time so I recommend booking sooner than later.
-
Yes, I require a retainer for all wedding packages and sessions. This will apply to your total amount and ensures your date is officially reserved for you.
-
After your retainer is paid, you have the option to pay partial payments as often as you choose until your remainder is due (30 days prior to your wedding/session).
weddings
-
Smaller, more intimate celebrations or elopements often need less time, while full wedding days with getting ready, ceremony, portraits, and reception typically fall on the higher end. I’ll help you figure out exactly what makes sense for your timeline so nothing important is missed and the day feels relaxed, not rushed.
-
Yes, my passport is always ready. I have a deep love for travel and am honored to document love stories anywhere in the world.
-
This happens often, actually - no reason to stress! We will catch back up or re-evaluate as we go. I work closely with you and your coordinator to ensure the day runs smoothly.
-
Absolutely - this is a core part of my service. I will work closely with you and your planner to craft a timeline that allows for a relaxed, joyful flow and ensures we have beautiful light for your most important portraits.
-
I always prepare for every scenario - being from the midwest, I understand how unpredictable the weather can be. During your consultation, we will discuss backup options and the week leading up to your wedding day, I will be monitoring the forecast.
sessions
-
All sessions include up to one hour of coverage.
-
For outdoor locations, I typically try to schedule sessions one hour prior to the sun setting in the evening or in the mornings, right at sun rise. Lighting is the reason for this timeframe - this gives you less hard shadows, more golden glow and a consistent gallery.
For studio or in-home sessions, I usually like to schedule these mid to late morning or late afternoon to give us more natural light to work with.

-
Outfits and styling are important to creating a cohesive gallery that allows focus on the genuine emotion. The main goal is to coordinate but not match. Wearing bright/neon colors will draw attention away from the real reason you’re having photos taken - documenting your love, those new moments with your baby, or even celebrating your 20 year anniversary.
I have created individualized Pinterest Boards that can help you find ideas - but I am always willing to help style you as well!
delivery & gallery
-
While I focus on quality over quantity, you can typically expect to receive between 30-50 final, edited images per hour of coverage. Every photo in your gallery is carefully selected and edited to tell a cohesive and beautiful story.
-
For sessions, a typical turn around time is 4-6 weeks.
As for weddings, expect a turn around time of 8-10 weeks due to the amount of images I have to narrow down and edit.
-
All galleries are sent through an online system that allows you to download in high resolution.
-
Yes! When signing the contract, I also include printing rights to all of my clients - allowing you to print your images wherever you choose.

-
Throughout my years of experience, I have compiled a very long list of beautiful locations that fit almost every vibe and of course I will help you narrow down which location to choose!
-
Yes, all images are edited based on my style to create images that are beautiful and cohesive with my portfolio.
-
Of course! I’ll guide you through everything so you never feel unsure in front of the camera. I’ll help with what to do with your hands, how to stand, where to look, and I’ll prompt real interaction between you so the moments feel genuine, not forced.
If you have questions that weren’t covered here, please ask! I’m always happy to answer them and I want you to feel fully informed throughout the entire process.
